Due to the unstable grid and rising energy costs. The Smith family wanted a 13.2 KW solar system combined with a 30 KWH whole home battery system integrated in with Span panel.
The challenge
The Smith family wanted to reduce their reliance on the grid, lower their electricity bills, and ensure backup power during outages. They needed a solar solution that was efficient, cost-effective, and seamlessly integrated with their home’s energy system.
Solution
We installed a 13.2 KW solar energy system paired with the Franklin Wh APower 2 system to maximize energy independence. The solar system has the ability to run all loads int he home while also charging the 30 KWH battery system during the day. Once the sun starts going down, the Franklin system powers through the night to the next morning. This system is tied to a Span smart panel allowing more visibility and control to the homeowners. Making this home nearly grid independent.
